I should have been concentrating on the Christmas entertaining but was rather distracted by embroidering a dress for a new baby. I simply drew the hearts using a frixion pen, the lines can be removed later with the heat of an iron, and then outlined them in french knots and random long stitches in progressively darker shades of blue embroidery thread.
