I am very fortunate in that I have a lot storage for my precious fabrics, but it does mean that things often ‘disappear’. It also means that occassionally I will come across a treasure that has become tucked away at the back of a drawer or cupboard. What a find yesterday morning, it quite made my heart sing. The most glorious piece of vintage crewel work, stitched beautifully and full of the types of motifs I am currently trying to use for some of my new projects. This beauty is not going back in the drawer!
