Win!!! Tickets to the Stitch Festival

It seems incredible that it is almost two years since we were facing the first lockdown and desperately hoping we would manage to squeeze in exhibiting at the Stitch Festival for the first time. Now we are back preparing for the new show. It will be wonderful to be able to see everyone again and to be inspired by the textile galleries and perhaps stock up on some fabrics, yarns and haberdashery for the coming year.

The organisers have worked so hard to bring you a Covid safe show. The new, improved layout features wider aisles, additional seating, caps on visitor numbers, staggered entry times and plenty of space for social distancing. 

We are in full preparation, making up plenty of new designs into kits, restocking firm favourites and sourcing some beautiful haberdashery.

As a valued friend of Ann’s Orchard we would love to see you again and we are fortunate to have two pairs of tickets to give away. To get you in the stitching mood we are also offering a pair of mini beadwork kits or a chunky cross stitch.

The tickets are valid for use on Thursday 3rd to 6th March 2022

The tickets are fully complimentary for use, after 11am, on Sunday 6th March but carry a surcharge of £6 each for the other days of the show. Winners will be sent information to register their e-ticket via email and I will pop your needlework kits in the post.

Win!!! Tickets to the Knitting and Stitching Show Harrogate

Hoorah, it is that time of year again when I am in full swing getting ready for the Knitting and Stitching Show in Harrogate – the end of the show always coincides with my annual trip to the dentist and then the start of the Christmas preparations.

I have some tickets to give away to this super event. It is the start of the new autumn term and that also heralds the start of my manic preparations for the Knitting and Stitching Show, Alexandra Palace, London, 10th to 13th October 2019.

I have a couple of pairs of tickets to give away for this amazing textiles show and a needlework kit of your choice; mini beadwork, chunky cross stitch, sample or biscornu.

On such a frosty morning it seems quite strange to be thinking ahead to spring, slightly warmer weather, longer days and a little sunshine…but I have tickets to give away for the Spring Knitting and Stitching Show at Olympia and fingers crossed we will not be snowed in this year!

The start of the new school year heralds preparation for the autumn craft shows. My biggest show of the year, Knitting & Stitching, Alexandra Palace is just over a month away and I’m already getting butterflies!!! I have plenty of new cross stitch kits but I still have to write the instructions and design the packaging – fingers crossed it will be, ‘alright on the night.’

The design is quite traditional and entirely in cross stitch, not a bead to be seen!!! I really like this show. It is smaller than the autumn offering at Alexandra Palace but there is still the same inspirational work in the textile galleries and it is a great opportunity to stock up on lovely fabrics, yarns and haberdashery for the coming year.
