Morning Glory

The mornig glory I started last week is almost finished, just the waste canvas to remove to reveal the linen beneath. I am now struggling to design a Japanese anenome …. white flowers are difficult as there is little contrast which is essential otherwise the light bounces off the beads and they all start looking the same

Fingers crossed I will get these designs ready for Knitting & Stitching, London in early October.

End of the Summer Hols

In less than an hour the summer holidays will finish when offspring two starts at senior school and I can finally start sewing again….

Actually, I got a little head start earlier this morning on a beaded morning glory. Not a lot to see at the moment, but I am quite pleased with these forst beads and hope to start putting in some shades of blue later this afternoon.
